AWE was engaged by Haslin Constructions to design and fabricate the Eurobodalla Southern Water Storage outlet pipeworks.
Custom DN450 to DN1200 pipe and fittings were fabricated from 10mm thick grade 316L stainless steel plate. The geometry and internal design achieves high velocity laminar flow.
Welding was done in compliance with AS4041 and AS/NZS1554.6 with visual, penetrant and radiographic NDT. Pickling and passivation was undertaken in accordance with ASTM A380.
