AWE has been engaged by Dormway to design and manufacture a replacement high pressure sewer door at Eagle Farm Pumping Station, Brisbane Queensland.
The ageing non-functional existing sewer door will be replaced with an AWE Wedge Gate penstock in accordance with Queensland Urban Utilities specifications.
The Wedge Gate penstock installed in a deep trunk sewer manhole will be operated remotely via a hydraulic control system housed in the adjacent pump station building.
The sewer door replacement is critical for flow isolation to allow other downstream works to take place safely.
